What do 'I do'

"WHAT DO YOU DO?"
This is probably the most asked question I get asked.
I have listed below, some of the main duties I would carry out for you on the day, my job on the day is to try and ensure your day flows as you have planned and dreamt it.
On the day, I will arrive at the venue approx. an hour before your guests and your arrival, to check everything is ready and to meet & greet on arrival.
I will liaise with the Registrars
I will then liaise with the photographer about photos and timings
I will also liaise with the venue on timings
I will announce the serving of the Wedding Breakfast & once everyone seated announce your partner and yourself into the room
I will then announce any 'church notices', disposable cameras, wedding guest book etc.
I will then announce the speeches and be available to pass on flowers and gifts
I will announce the cake cutting ceremony
I will announce the end of the meal and your retirement from the room
I will liaise with venue and DJ in preparation for evening function
I will announce the first dance
The above is a brief and basic outline of what I will do on the day, but above all I will be doing whatever is required to ensure the day flows as you had wished.
I almost act as your host, because you will be busy doing other things, so as said earlier, I meet & greet guests on arrival, point them in the right direction, simple things like where the toilets are, where to get a drink, take gifts and cards, there is nothing worse than people standing around, wondering what they are supposed to be doing next.
I like to think I bring a little formal informality to the day!
